ROOT CAUSE #24: Impaired Lymphatic Function
1 Lesson

Considered the most important body system in Ayurvedic medicine (which calls it the “water of life”), the lymphatic system is the least understood and most undervalued of all the body systems. It is approximately twice the size of the blood circulation system and manages almost double the volume of fluid daily. It is indispensable to your immunity and health, as it carries nutrients to and removes toxins from all your cells. It transports white blood cells that trap and remove harmful microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and molds and eliminate damaged or pre-cancerous cells. It is like a sewage system. It drains all of the waste materials produced by every cell in the body. If it gets backed up, it is like a toilet and can get clogged. If it stopped working we would die within 24-48 hours.

In this short educational video, you will learn about the key role the lymphatic system plays in your body, how impaired lymphatic function may impact your overall health, and how to assess this root cause in relation to your current health status.

All of our ASSESS series videos are designed to empower you with knowledge and resources so you may feel inspired to identify root causes at the core of your chronic discomforts and ailments.
